We designed Descubre as an inter-institutional program that, through a public-private alliance coordinated by COMEX, MAG, PROCOMER and CNAA, seeks to revalue agriculture and fishing as sustainable activities towards an inclusive and dynamic economy. In addition to promoting the attraction of investment in rural and coastal areas of the country. We take agriculture and fishing to the next level!
WHAT IS A DISCOVERY?
We define a discovery as changes, processes, adjustments, or innovations that improve and modernize agricultural, livestock or aquaculture activities in both domestic and international markets. These can be presented as:
STRATEGIC ON-FARM ARCHITECTURE PROGRAM FOR THE BEEF CATTLE INDUSTRY.
The Strategic On-Farm Architecture Program for the beef cattle industry seeks to provide specialized technical assistance to producing farms that are part of organized Groups or are established suppliers of meat processing companies.
For 1 year, the beneficiary farms will receive the identification, management, support, and implementation of improvement opportunities in terms of extension and strategic knowledge transfer, with the objective of promoting the transformation and strengthening of the Costa Rican livestock industry with a focus on the export market of the European Union or other markets.
